30 Day Returns Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase and offer a 30 day return period.

If for any reason your order is not as you expected, you may exchange, replace or be provided with store credit for your purchase, when it is returned in saleable condition with tags still attached, and in accordance with the points below:

All items must be returned within 30 days from delivery and you will be provided with a store credit equal to the original cost of the product.
All hats must not have been worn or show any sign of use or misuse. Items must be in the original packaging with the tags attached.
Items that show signs of wear or misuse will not be accepted for return.

NOTE:

  • Gift cards are non-returnable
  • We do not offer cash refunds for change of mind.
  • There is a limit of one Exchange per transaction.

TO RETURN AN IN-STORE PURCHASE:

To complete your return in-store, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

If you can't come into the store you can send the hat back to us.

  • Let us know by calling or emailing our customer service team on 02 92316884 or via email info@strandhatters.com.au 

  • Once we have confirmed your request via email or over the telephone, you will receive an email providing details of how and where to return the item(s).

  • If you are returning your purchase by Australia Post, within 30 days of receiving your order, please package your goods in a box of appropriate size and strength, also  remembering to include your delivery note/receipt. 
  • Be sure you include the Return Authorization Number (RA NO.) that will be provided to you by email, as well as details of your exchange or refund request.

Take your parcel to any Australia Post Office and return it using a trackable service. The cost will vary depending on your location and the weight of your parcel. The onus is on the customer to decide if insurance is required. Strand Hatters are not responsible for any lost items.

TO RETURN AN ONLINE PURCHASE:

If you ordered online please head to the Strand Hatters Return Centre and follow the prompts. Instructions on how to return the item will be emailed to you. Please contact us if you haven't received anything within 48hours.

Please note: the customer will be liable for any shipping costs incurred when sending the item back to us. We will then ship a replacement (if required) at no cost.


FAULTY GOODS

Goods are deemed faulty if you receive them in damaged condition or where a manufacturing fault occurs within one year of purchase. Items that are damaged by you or in any other way, or as a result of normal wear and tear are not considered to be faulty.

If you would like to exchange a faulty item instead of receiving a refund, please note we can only replace it for the same product in the same size, subject to availability. Where possible we will offer to repair faulty items. If it cannot be repaired, you are entitled to a full refund.

ITEMS PURCHASED USING A GIFT CARD 

Any returns of products purchased with Gift Cards will be returned in the form of a Gift Card to that value.
